Pranferol is a coumarin derivative that has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells. Pranferol belongs to a class of natural compounds called coumarins, which are synthesized from hydroxycinnamic acids. In addition, pranferol has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on the growth of carcinoma cell lines. It also has chromatographic properties and can be used for the separation and purification of imperatorin, another natural compound.
