GSK481 is a fluorescent compound that has been shown to induce cell death in various cancer cells. It modulates the expression of markers, such as p53 and Bax, which are involved in apoptosis. GSK481 is not active against normal cells and does not cause any side effects. The effective dose for GSK481 is between 1-10 μM with an EC50 of 4 μM. GSK481 has been shown to be effective against acute ischemic stroke and breast cancer in animal models. In addition, this compound induces apoptosis in cancer cells by modulating the expression of markers such as p53 and Bax, which are both involved in apoptosis.
