Product Information

Name:
Selinidin
Description:

Selinidin is a natural drug that belongs to the class of leukotriene receptor antagonists. It blocks the binding of leukotrienes to their receptors, thereby reducing inflammation and allergic reactions. Selinidin has been shown to inhibit melanogenesis in the skin and has been used as a treatment for autoimmune diseases such as psoriasis. Selinidin also inhibits acetylcholinesterase, an enzyme important in the transmission of nerve impulses. This drug has been found to be effective in tests on animals and is currently undergoing clinical trials. Selinidin contains a coumarin derivative that binds to carbonic anhydrase, inhibiting its activity. This chemical structure also undergoes electrochemical detection by cyclic voltammetry with a natural compound detector.
