Description

Umbelliprenin is a coumarin derivative that has been shown to have significant cytotoxicity against cancer cells. It interacts with the mitochondrial membrane and affects the mitochondrial membrane potential, which leads to apoptosis. Umbelliprenin also inhibits the expression of Mcl-1, a protein involved in the apoptosis pathway.
