4-Bromo-2-chloro-6-methylaniline hydrochloride is a pharmacological tool that can be used in the study of protein interactions. It binds to and activates various ion channels, including K+ channels, Na+ channels, Ca2+ channels, and Cl- channels. 4-Bromo-2-chloro-6-methylaniline hydrochloride has also been shown to inhibit the binding of ligands to their receptors. This chemical is an inhibitor of peptides such as vasopressin and bradykinin. It also inhibits antibody production by inhibiting the synthesis of proteins necessary for antibody production. 4-Bromo-2-chloro-6-methylaniline hydrochloride is a high purity reagent with CAS No. 1172914-08-7.
