2-[(2-Phenylethyl)amino]benzoic acid (2-PABA) is a drug that has been used in the treatment of inflammatory diseases and as a component of pharmaceutical preparations. 2-PABA is a biocompatible polymer that can be used to coat medical devices, such as catheters, to prevent infection.
