Product Information

Name:
PI3K inhibitor B591
Description:

PI3K inhibitor B591 is a small molecule that inhibits the activity of the PI3K enzyme. PI3K inhibitor B591 has been shown to inhibit ion channels, ligand-gated receptors, and G protein-coupled receptors in vitro. The IC50 values for these enzymes are: 0.07 nM (G protein-coupled receptor), 0.06 nM (ion channel), and 0.5 nM (ligand-gated receptor). In addition to its inhibitory effects on these enzymes, PI3K inhibitor B591 has been shown to activate cell surface receptors by increasing the expression of their corresponding mRNA and protein levels. This small molecule also binds to an antibody that can be used as a research tool or therapeutic agent against cancer cells or other types of cells with increased activity of PI3K enzyme.
