Product Information
SW203668 is a selective activator of the TRPA1 ion channel. It has been shown to stimulate TRPA1-dependent Ca2+ influx in cells with high efficiency. SW203668 binds to the extracellular domain of TRPA1, and this binding induces a conformational change that activates the channel. It is also an inhibitor of the P2X7 receptor. SW203668 has been shown to inhibit the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-6, TNFα and IL-8 in human monocytes stimulated with lipopolysaccharide (LPS).
