Sch527123 is a high-affinity, selective antagonist of CXCR2. It binds competitively to the receptor and blocks the binding of its ligands, including chemokines and CXCL12. This inhibition prevents the activation of downstream signaling pathways that regulate immune cell trafficking and inflammatory responses. Sch527123 has been shown to inhibit the production of cytokines and other inflammatory mediators in vitro and in vivo. Sch527123 has also been shown to have immunosuppressive effects in various animal models.
