Product Information

Name:
(R)-Hesperetin
Description:

(R)-Hesperetin is a protein kinase inhibitor that has shown promise in the treatment of cancer. It is an analog of hesperidin, a flavonoid found in citrus fruits, and has been shown to inhibit the activity of cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs), which are involved in cell cycle regulation. This inhibition leads to apoptosis, or programmed cell death, in cancer cells. (R)-Hesperetin also inhibits the growth of tumor cells by blocking the activity of specific proteins involved in their proliferation. Studies have shown that this compound has potent anticancer activity against human cancer cell lines and may be useful as a therapeutic agent for the treatment of various types of cancer. Additionally, (R)-Hesperetin can be detected in urine samples and can serve as a biomarker for cancer diagnosis and monitoring.
