CAS:Pyrogallol is a compound that belongs to the class of polymerase chain inhibitors. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of human immunoglobulin and enzyme activities in vitro, as well as to scavenge anion radicals. The protonated form of pyrogallol is a substrate for hydrogen bonding interactions, which are observed with water vapor. Pyrogallol is also able to form hydrogen bonds with other compounds such as p-hydroxybenzoic acid. Hydrogen bonding interactions have been shown to play an important role in the oxidative injury process in humans. Studies have also shown that pyrogallol inhibits the growth of Candida glabrata in vitro, which may be due to its ability to block DNA synthesis by inhibiting topoisomerase II and RNA synthesis by inhibiting ribonucleotide reductase.Formula:C6H6O3Purity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:126.11 g/molPyrogallol, ACS, 99%
