Description:Cystothiazole A exhibits antifungal properties, effectively inhibiting Candida albicans, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, and Aspergillus fumigatus with minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) of 0.4 μg/mL, 0.1 μg/mL, and 1.6 μg/mL, respectively. It also demonstrates inhibitory activity against human tumor cells such as HPT-116 and K562, with MIC values of 130 ng/mL and 110 ng/mL. However, it shows no antibacterial activity.
