Applications N-Acetyl Lorcaserin-d3 is the isotope labelled analog of N-Acetyl Lorcaserin (A185200); an impurity of Lorcaserin (L469890, HCl) which is a novel selective 5-HT2C-receptor agonist for the treatment of obesity. N-Acetyl Lorcaserin is also used as a reagent in the synthesis of isoquinoline, isoindoline, and benzoazepine amides as therapeutic modulators of the histamine H3 receptor.
