Applications 2-Bromophenylethylamine is an intermediate used to prepare potent antagonists of antiapoptotic protein XIAP for treatment of cancer. It is also used in the synthesis of aryl aminosulfonamide derivatives as potent 5-HT6 receptor antagonists.
