Description

Applications Dextran is a polysaccharide composed of glucose molecules used as an antithrombotic to reduce blood viscosity and as a volume expander in anemia. Studies show that it inhibits the mannose receptor-mediated clearance of tissue-type plasminogen activator (t-PA).
