Applications N,N-Dimethylhexadecylamine is used in the synthesis of 3-(N,N-Dimethylpalmitylammonio)propanesulfonate (D461825), a zwitterionic surfactant used in the preparation of a highly efficient adsorbent for herbicides, DHAPS-Mt.
