Description

Applications Ethyl 2-bromobutyrate is used in synthetic chemistry as a polymerization initiator. Ethyl 2-bromobutyrate is also used as a reagent to synthesize Efaroxan, an imidazoline α 2-antagonist that stimulated insulin secretion in rat pancreatic cells.
