Applications 3-[(3-Fluorophenyl)sulfonyl]-N,N-dimethyl-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridine-1-ethanamine Dihydrochloride is the dihydrochloride salt of 3-[(3-Fluorophenyl)sulfonyl]-N,N-dimethyl-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridine-1-ethanamine which is a selective 5-HT6 receptor agonist. It has been proven to have antidepressant and anxiolytic effects on rats suggesting its usefulness as a potential antidepressant.
