Product Information
- 2,2-dihydroxyacetic acid
Applications Glyoxylic Acid Hydrate-13C2 is the labelled hydrated analog of Glyoxylic Acid (G754995) which is used as a reagent in the synthesis of N-{[6-chloro-4-(2,6-dimethoxyphenyl)quinazolin-2-yl]carbonyl}-L-leucine, a novel nonpeptide chemotype selective for neurotensin receptor 2. Also used as a reagent in the synthesis of elemonic acid derivatives as Pin1 inhibitors. Glyoxylic Acid-13C2 was used in the synthesis of carbon labelled 6-N-carboxymethyllysine (CML) which is the most used marker for advanced glycation endproducts in food analysis.
