Applications 4'-Hydroxybiphenyl-3-carboxylic Acid is a biaryl compound that can be prepared via palladium bis[(dipiperidinylphosphino)amino]phenyl-catalyzed Suzuki-Miyaura cross coupling reactions of organoboronic acids or trifluoroborates and aryl bromides and can also be synthesized by simultaneous hydroxylation and carboxylation of biphenyls. 4'-Hydroxybiphenyl-3-carboxylic Acid is a useful building block with applications in various syntheses.
