Applications A useful synthetic intermedate. A naturally occuring, biologically active isomer of guanosine. Reported to stimulate the accumulation of cyclic-AMP in the brain. It is an inhibitor of IMP pyrophosphorylase, and its 5’-di and -tri-phosphates inhibit glutamic acid dehydrogenase. May contain approximately 0.6 moles of water.
