• Description: Applications A novel squalene synthase inhibitor. Lapaquistat acetate decreased plasma cholesterol and triglyceride levels, by lowering lipoproteins containing apoB100. Treatment with Lapaquistat acetate increased collagen concentration and transformed coronary plaques into fibromuscular plaques.
