Applications Methyl 6-Ethylnicotinate is used as a building block in the synthesis of several organic compounds including pyrimidine biaryl compounds which act as CDK9 inhibitors. It is also used in the preparation of tetrahydroquinolinyl PGD2 receptor atagonists which can be used in treatment of inflammatory diseases.
