Applications Methylcarbamoyl Chloride is used as a reagent in the synthesis of acylprolinamides as a new class of peptide deformylase inhibitors with in vivo antibacterial activity. Methylcarbamoyl Chloride is also used as a reagent in the synthesis of carbamate derivatives as potential dual-binding site acetylcholinesterase inhibitors.
