Applications 6-Methyl-5-hepten-2-one-1,1,1,3,3-d5 is an intermediate used in the synthesis of Geraniol-D5 (G367003), which is a deuterium labelled analog of Geraniol, which is used in the synthesis of insect repellant. It is also used in the synthesis of Angelicoin A and Herecinone J, which inhibit collagen-induced platelet aggregation.
