Applications (-)-Nicotine (+)-O,O’-Di-p-toluoyl-D-tartaric Acid Salt is an intermediate in synthesizing (R)-N'-Nitrosonornicotine (N535030), a tobacco alkaloid as risk factor of human cancer. It is a potent esophageal and nasal cavity carcinogens in rats and pulmonary carcinogens in mice.
