Applications Used as insecticide for terminate control; pre-harvest defoliant; general herbicide. Antimicrobial preservative and fungicide for wood, wood products, starches, textiles, paints, adhesives, leather, pulp, paper, industrial waste systems, building materials; Surface disinfectant. Exposure to PCP is also associated with carcinogenic, renal, and neurological effects. This compound is a contaminant of emerging concern (CECs). One of the new POPs under the Stockholm Convention
