Applications Propionaldehyde Diethyl Acetal is used in the preparation of biarylether amide quinolines as liver X receptor agonists used in the treatment of atherosclerosis, diabetes, anti-inflammation. Also used in the preparation of anticonvulsant sugar sulfamates related to Topiramate (T540250), an antiepileptic.
