Applications Tigoloyl Chloride is used in the polymerization of propylene as well as through a Freidel-Crafts reaction for the preparation of permethylindenyl complexes of transition metals. As well, it is primarily used as a reagent in the enantioselective synthesis of dihydropyrans.
