Applications Sulfonamide antiseizure agent; blocks repetitive firing of voltagesensitive sodium channels and reduces voltage-sensitive T-type calcium currents. Heterocyclic methanesulfonide with anticonvulsant properties. The compound is under investigation for potential therapeutic use as an antiepileptic drug. Anticonvulsant.
