
Radicais Livres e Agentes Oxidantes/Redutores
Os radicais livres são moléculas com elétrons desemparelhados que podem danificar estruturas celulares, afetando a estabilidade dos ingredientes farmacêuticos ativos (API). Esses radicais são importantes na formulação de APIs, pois sua presença pode influenciar a estabilidade e a eficácia do fármaco. Os agentes oxidantes são substâncias que facilitam a perda de elétrons, o que pode ser útil na produção de certos APIs, mas também pode causar reações indesejadas se não forem devidamente controlados.
