2-Cyclohexyl-4,6-dinitrophenol is a chemical that inhibits the synthesis of viral DNA. It has been shown to have minimal toxicity in animal models and may be used for the treatment of metabolic disorders, such as hepatic steatosis or hepatitis. 2-Cyclohexyl-4,6-dinitrophenol has also been shown to inhibit the toll-like receptor (TLR) pathway and induce an antiviral state in vitro.
