CU-T12-9 is a molecule that belongs to the group of toll-like receptor (TLR) agonists. It activates TLRs and has potent inhibitory activity against IL-10, TNF-α, and other inflammatory cytokines. CU-T12-9 also prevents the growth of cancer cells by inhibiting the production of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα). CU-T12-9 is highly specific for human macrophages, which makes it an excellent candidate for drug development in the treatment of inflammatory conditions such as cancer.
