:(6beta)-17-(cyclopropylmethyl)-4,5-epoxymorphinan-3,6,14-triol
Description:
The chemical substance known as (6beta)-17-(cyclopropylmethyl)-4,5-epoxymorphinan-3,6,14-triol, with the CAS number 20410-98-4, is a synthetic derivative of morphinan, a class of compounds that includes various opioids. This compound features a complex structure characterized by a morphinan backbone, which is modified with a cyclopropylmethyl group and an epoxide functional group. The presence of hydroxyl groups at the 3, 6, and 14 positions contributes to its potential biological activity, particularly in relation to opioid receptors. The epoxide moiety may also influence its reactivity and interaction with biological systems. As a morphinan derivative, it may exhibit analgesic properties, but its specific pharmacological effects, safety profile, and therapeutic applications would require further investigation through experimental studies. Overall, this compound represents a unique modification of the morphinan structure, which may lead to novel pharmacological properties.

CAS:Controlled Product6a-Naltrexol is a synthetic opioid that has been shown to inhibit the binding of beta-endorphin and other endogenous opioids to opioid receptors. It has been used as an analgesic in chronic pain management, as a treatment for opioid dependence, and as a means of reducing the severity of withdrawal symptoms. The terminal half-life of 6a-naltrexol is approximately 20 hours. This drug can be detected in urine samples by means of chromatographic methods or chemical ionization, but not by receptor activity assays. In cell culture studies, 6a-naltrexol has been found to have a high absorption rate constant and low toxicity. Toxicity studies have been conducted in rats where it was found that 6a-naltrexol binds to opioid receptors with high affinity and specificity. It also inhibits the binding of beta-endorphin and other endogenous opioids to these receptors.Formula:C20H25NO4Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:343.42 g/mol6alpha-Naltrexol-d4
