MRTX-1257 is a covalent inhibitor that binds to the active site of these enzymes and prevents them from dephosphorylating specific proteins. This mechanism has been shown to have immunomodulatory effects in tumor tissue and to be effective against cancer. In addition, MRTX-1257 has been shown to inhibit pancreatic cancer growth in a mouse model. It also inhibits tumor cell proliferation by binding to cell receptors or altering their function.
