Description:
The chemical substance with the name "(10S,13R,17R)-10,13-dimethyl-17-[(E)-1,4,5-trimethylhex-2-enyl]-1,2,4,5,6,9,11,12,14,15,16,17-dodecahydrocyclopenta[a]phenanthren-3-one" and CAS number "32507-77-0" is a complex organic compound characterized by a multi-ring structure typical of steroid-like molecules. It features a dodecahydrocyclopenta[a]phenanthrene core, which is indicative of its potential biological activity. The presence of multiple methyl groups and a long aliphatic chain suggests that it may exhibit lipophilic properties, influencing its solubility and interaction with biological membranes. The stereochemistry, denoted by the specific configuration at several chiral centers, is crucial for its biological function and activity. Such compounds are often studied for their potential therapeutic applications, particularly in fields like endocrinology and oncology, due to their structural similarity to natural hormones. The compound's unique structure may also confer specific binding affinities to various receptors, making it a subject of interest in medicinal chemistry research.

CAS:Controlled Product
Ergosta-7,22-dien-3-one is a novel compound isolated from the mycelium of Ganoderma lucidum. It inhibits transcriptional activity of the DNA polymerase chain reaction and has been shown to have inhibitory effects on neutrophil chemotaxis. Ergosta-7,22-dien-3-one has been found to have anticancer and antiinflammatory bioactivities. A coriolus extract (CE) has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells with an IC50 value of 0.5 mg/mL. CE also inhibited inflammatory responses in macrophages through inhibition of NFκB activation, which was induced by lipopolysaccharide stimulation. This inhibition was partially dependent on the inhibition of protein synthesis by CE and was not seen when CE was administered at a high concentration for 48 hours. These findings suggest that CE may be a potential therapeutic agent for inflammation and cancer treatment.
Formula:C28H44OPurity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:396.6 g/mol
