Quarfloxin

Quarfloxin is a drug that belongs to the class of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Quarfloxin is a potent inhibitor of prostaglandin synthesis by blocking cyclooxygenase. The structural biology and cell signaling pathways of quarfloxin are not fully understood. However, it inhibits prostate cancer cells, which may lead to the development of new therapeutic agents for prostate cancer. Quarfloxin has also shown to have immunosuppressive effects in autoimmune diseases.
