SM-164
CAS:
SM-164 binds to XIAP protein containing both the BIR2 and BIR3 domains (IC50: 1.39 nM). It acts as an extremely potent antagonist of XIAP.
Formula:C62H84N14O6Purity:98.53% - 99.92%Color and Shape:SolidMolecular weight:1121.42SM-164
CAS:
SM-164 is a monoclonal antibody that targets the protein TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL), which is involved in the death of cancer cells. TRAIL induces apoptosis by binding to the TRAIL receptor 1 (TRAILR1) and activating caspase-8, -9, and -10. SM-164 has minimal toxicity and enhances the radiosensitizing effect of adriamycin. It also inhibits caspase activity by antagonizing TRAIL signaling. Structural analysis revealed that SM-164 binds to TRAIL with an affinity of 0.7 nM, resulting in inhibition of proteolytic cleavage and preventing activation of caspases. This inhibited proteolysis prevents degradation of cellular proteins, leading to cell death by apoptosis.
Formula:C62H84N14O6Purity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:1,121.42 g/mol
