CAS:5-Hydroxynicotinamide is a plant-derived compound that has been shown to have antiplasmodial and antimalarial activities. It has been demonstrated to be an inhibitor of tumor cells, in particular leishmania and plasmodium. The leaves of the plant from which 5-hydroxynicotinamide is derived are used as a traditional medicine for the treatment of fever, malaria, and other diseases. The structure of 5-hydroxynicotinamide was determined by spectroscopic data and chemical analysis. Hypoxic tumor cells were found to be more susceptible than normoxic tumor cells to the antitumor activity of 5-hydroxynicotinamide. A potential synergistic effect between 5-hydroxynicotinamide and nicotinamide was also observed; both compounds were found to inhibit proliferation in hypoxic tumor cells.Formula:C6H6N2O2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:138.13 g/mol[2-(Dimethylamino)ethyl](3-phenylpropyl)amine

CAS:Methyl 2,4-dichloro-5-nitrobenzoate is a nitration product that has been used as an experimental insecticide. It is the methyl ester of the nitro compound 2,4-dichloro-5-nitrobenzoate. Methyl 2,4-dichloro-5-nitrobenzoate fuses with proteins in the insect’s gut and prevents them from digesting food. This causes a rapid death by starvation of insects that have ingested this compound. The infrared spectrum of methyl 2,4-dichloro-5-nitrobenzoate has been shown to be similar to that of propoxur and methamidophos. Spectroscopy has also demonstrated that methyl 2,4-dichloro-5-nitrobenzoate is an ester with diacylhydrazine activity.

CAS:Acetazolamide is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor that is used to treat glaucoma, epilepsy and altitude sickness. It is also used to treat the symptoms of Ménière's disease. Acetazolamide has been shown to inhibit pentylenetetrazole-induced convulsions in rats and mice, suggesting it would be nontoxic if administered orally to humans. Acetazolamide inhibits carbonic anhydrase, which is present in the human brain at nanomolar concentrations. This inhibition results in decreased production of bicarbonate ions from carbon dioxide and water, leading to a decrease in intracranial pressure.Formula:C9H11ClN2O3SPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:262.71 g/moltert-Butyl(2-iodoethoxy)dimethylsilane
