CAS:Controlled Product4-[4-(Ethoxycarbonyl)-5-methyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl]benzoic acid is a life science research tool, which is structurally similar to the endogenous ligands of the GABAA receptor. It was used in a study to investigate the activation of this receptor by its endogenous ligands and with an antibody. The compound inhibited protein interactions, as well as ion channels, and may be useful for studying these processes.Formula:C14H14N2O4Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:274.27 g/mol6-(Thiophen-3-yl)pyridine-3-carboxylic acid

CAS:Versatile small molecule scaffoldFormula:C9H8Br2O2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:307.98 g/mol2-iodo-1,3-oxazole
CAS:2-Iodo-1,3-oxazole (2IO) is a functionalized oxazole compound. It has anticancer activity mediated by proinflammatory gene activation, which stimulates the release of cytokines and other proinflammatory molecules. 2IO has been shown to inhibit the function of p38α mapk in human cells. This inhibition is due to the substitution of a chloride for the iodine atom in 2IO. The chloride group is less reactive than an iodine group and does not generate reactive oxygen species when it reacts with water. This property leads to the stabilization of 2IO as a drug candidate for cancer therapy.

CAS:Versatile small molecule scaffoldFormula:C11H15ClN2OPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:226.7 g/molN-[3-(Benzyloxy)pyridin-2-yl]benzenesulfonamide
CAS:N-[3-(Benzyloxy)pyridin-2-yl]benzenesulfonamide (NBP) is a drug that has been shown to have analgesic properties in animal pain models. NBP has been shown to bind to a proton receptor, which may be localized in the blood-brain barrier. It is speculated that this binding facilitates the passage of protons from the blood into the brain, leading to analgesia. In addition, NBP has been shown to have an affinity for interstitial fluid and facilitation of cerebrospinal fluid. This facilitation may lead to increased water permeability across the blood-brain barrier by increasing astrocyte expression and allowing for more water channels. The hypothesized mechanism of action is that NBP binds to a facilitator receptor on astrocytes, which leads to increased expression of aquaporin 4 (AQP4), which increases water permeability across the blood-brain barrier.!-- ENDFormula:C18H16N2O3SPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:340.4 g/mol(5-Phenyl-1,3-oxazol-2-yl)methyl 4-oxo-4-(4-propoxyphenyl)butanoate
