Description

Pentoxifylline is a methylxanthine derivative that is used to treat intermittent claudication that is caused by chronic occlusive arterial disease of the limbs. This drug also has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Pentoxifylline is a phosphodiesterase inhibitor aiding to increase levels of cAMP.
