Product Information
Rigosertib sodium is a small-molecule inhibitor of the DNA methyltransferase enzyme, which mediates methylation of CpG sites in DNA. Rigosertib sodium has been shown to induce reactive oxygen species (ROS) and inhibit cell proliferation in squamous cell carcinoma cells. It also inhibits the activity of the transcriptional regulator TNF-α, which may be due to its ability to reduce the expression of toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4). This agent has minimal toxicity in preclinical studies and has shown synergistic effects with other agents that are being investigated for cancer or inflammatory diseases. Rigosertib sodium is currently under investigation as an investigational agent for cancer therapy.
