Product Information

Name:
Siponimod fumarate
Description:

Siponimod is a synthetic, polymorphic drug that has been developed to treat autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. It is a novel, selective immunomodulatory drug that binds to the sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor. This binding inhibits the production of proinflammatory cytokines, which leads to reduced disease activity. Siponimod has been shown to be effective in reducing symptoms in patients with multiple sclerosis and psoriasis, as well as providing comparative efficacy against comparators. Siponimod has also been shown to have favorable pharmacokinetic properties and does not induce any serious adverse reactions during clinical trials. Siponimod is currently under investigation for other indications such as Crohn's disease and Alzheimer's disease.
