Description:Specific inhibitor of Rho-associated ROCK kinases which supresses tumour cell invasion and affects cell proliferation, differentiation and motility. The compound competes with ATP for binding to the kinase catalytic site and inhibits phosphorylation of ROCK substrates. This inhibitor was also shown to attenuate neuronal death after transient retinal ischemia and to possess protective effects on human embryonic stem cells.
