Description:LY2562175 is a small molecule that inhibits diacylglycerol (DAG) production. It binds to the enzyme DAG kinase, which is responsible for catalyzing the phosphorylation of DAG to form phosphatidic acid. LY2562175 has been shown to reduce lipid levels in humans and improve dyslipidemia. LY2562175 also has inhibitory activity against primary sclerosing cholangitis, a chronic inflammatory condition of the bile ducts in the liver.
