Product Information
3-Hydroxy-5-[(naphthalen-2-yl)carbamoyl]benzoic acid (3HB) is a molecule that has been shown to inhibit colon cancer. 3HB binds to the conformational site of the targetable receptor on colon cancer cells, which leads to inhibition of cellular growth and tumorigenesis. It also inhibits the interaction between molecules that are involved in tissue homeostasis and pluripotent stem cells. 3HB has been shown to be an allosteric modulator of the Wnt signaling pathway in vitro and in vivo. The molecular mechanism by which 3HB inhibits colon cancer is through modulation of Wnt signaling.
