Corn oil is used in cooking, salad dressings, and many other food products. It is also used as a biofuel. Corn oil has been shown to have toxic effects on the liver and kidneys at high concentrations. However, it does not appear to have any significant long-term toxicity or carcinogenic effects. The optimum concentration for corn oil appears to be 0.5%.
