It also has proton and chloride ions as its reactive intermediates, which are generated from ethylene diamine in the reaction mechanism. 2,3-Difluorobenzaldehyde has been used in clinical trials for cancer, inflammatory diseases, and other conditions. This molecule does not react with fatty acids and is not metabolized by cytochrome P450 enzymes.
