- 2,5-dioxo-
Protonated (2,5-dioxoimidazolidin-1-yl)acetic acid is a proton carrier that is found in the sequences of tetraethyl and residues of analgesics. It is a cyclic, linear polymer with an urea derivative and benzyl groups. Mathematical calculations have shown that formamide can bind to metal cations such as copper(II), zinc(II), or nickel(II). The formamide molecule contains a nitrogen atom and an amide group. The nitrogen atom can bind to ammonia or hydantoin, which are compounds that contain nitrogen atoms. Hydantoin also has an acid anhydride group.
