Dieckol is a natural compound that has inhibitory properties on the formation of body fat. It has been shown to inhibit the 3T3-L1 preadipocyte differentiation process, which is important for the accumulation of body fat. This drug was developed from a polyphenolic compound found in the bark extract of Diospyros kaki.
